19th Birthday

Celebrated my 19th Birthday with my love ones and the people close to my heart. Naks!

Had lunch with my friends, the TANGA Thyra, Joyce & Camella at Butcher's Best. After our class, dine out with Jb at Jolibee. Dinner at home. First time to formally introduce Jb to the family. Not a bad day after all. Happy me. Happy Birthday celebrant.

Months ago my Ate Kiting asked me what I want for me debut. I became speechless for the moment because I wasn't sure what I really want for my debut. Then it made me think, I want a simple celebration. In exchange for having a new and nice cellphone instead. When I told her, she got angry. She told me celebrating a debut happens once in a lifetime. She don't want me to regret my decision just for a cellphone. She left me no choice but to agree with her to celebrate my debut.

Next is, I don't have any idea what could be a nice concept or theme for my debut. They are pressuring me on what theme I have in mind for my debut. Another problem. I've been thinking I want a barbie like theme pink and violet. But I have a second thought of the theme. It is like everyone will be having a theme like that. I don't want to have a theme like everyone else. Instead, I gave up my favorite color just to have a unique color theme for my birthday. One Sunday, after we went to church we went to SM for strolling at the same time small shopping. While looking for something. I saw a box for pictures and it has Belle in it. Belle as in Belle of Beauty & the Beast. I'm great fan of her. She is my favorite among the Disney Princesses. I asked Ate Kiting to buy it for me. With no hesitations she did bought it for me. On our way home I was thinking maybe I wanted a Belle like theme on my debut. So I told my 2 sisters about it. They both agreed. Then the theme will be Yellow. Not bad right?

Next problem again is what will be my design for my gown? I really wanted to have this Greek like gown. But it suit with my theme. While scanning my old magazine collections I found nice pictures of gowns for Prom. There I found a one shoulder gown and the other gown is with a long flowing gown. I asked my Ate Apple's advise could it possible for having a design like that. Well, my Tito Nash & Auntie Delfa's magic made it happen. I had my dream gown after all.

About my escort? Don't ask me. My sisters tricked me! Anyways, it's been years since my sister been telling me that Escort should be KIM. Bahala naa na siya'y uyab or naa ko'y gusto mag escort. They always wanted him to be my Escort. Not a bad escort after all. Maski naa na siya uyab. He never failed to make my heart skip the moment he serenade me. Grow Old With You (I know that song is for his girlfriend) & I really wanted to see you tonight.

So here, Celebrated My 18th Birthday at Grand City Hotel. Celebrated it on the day after my birthday of the reason Thursday akong birthday and I still have class.

I would like to have this opportunity to thank all people who is behind this preparation for my Debut.

First I would like to thank my parents, for being there for me even we are miles apart. Thank you for all the love and care you have given to me. Miles apart from is not a reason not to be with you in my everyday life because you have been there for us always. And thank you for the financial support for this big event.

Cheer Dance
